I can’t believe how quickly this escalated. Just a few days ago, things felt tense, but now we’re on the brink of full-scale war with Iran. The fact that drones actually struck the US embassy in Riyadh is insane. This could spiral out of control fast and impact not just the Middle East but the entire global economy with oil prices shooting up. I hope cooler heads prevail before more innocent people get caught in the crossfire.

This whole thing seems like a manufactured crisis to me. The US claims it had to act preemptively because Israel was about to strike Iran? Sounds like an excuse to me. And blaming Iran for attacks when so much of what we hear comes from US and Israeli sources makes it hard to trust the narrative. I don’t think any of these countries really want peace, or they’d stop provoking each other. This just feels like another war the big powers benefit from while regular folks suffer.
