Honestly the market has the memory of a goldfish wearing a blindfold. One week it’s "AI will change everything," next week it’s "actually chips are just expensive rocks." Jokes aside, oil ripping while semis get clipped is pretty textbook fear mode.

I get the overbought argument, but I think people are overstating the "AI bubble" angle. TSMC just posted record profit and still got smashed, so this looks more like sector rotation + macro panic than some fundamental collapse in demand. If anything, these moves are what happens when positioning gets too crowded.

Yeah, this is the part where everyone discovers valuation again. Nvidia’s not suddenly a bad company, but when a stock gets priced like perfection, even a minor wobble turns into a stampede. The Middle East headlines just gave traders an excuse to de-risk across the board.

Yeah but people have been calling the top in semis for like a year and Nvidia still keeps printing absurd numbers. I’m not saying it can’t pull back more, but “healthy correction” is usually what folks say right before it keeps dumping another 10%. If oil stays hot and yields stay sticky, tech multiples could get squeezed pretty fast.

Feels like a pretty normal unwind to me. When a trade gets this crowded, any excuse will do — geopolitics just gave the market a convenient catalyst. The AI capex question is real though: at some point, hyperscalers have to show actual monetization, not just bigger and bigger orders for GPUs.

Middle East tensions + overbought tech = classic risk-off cocktail. Not surprising to see money rotate into energy while semis get hit. The bigger question is whether this is just a healthy pullback or the start of people questioning the whole AI capex cycle?

FEELS LIKE THE MARKET IS FINALLY REMEMBERING THAT AI ISN’T A MAGIC MONEY PRINTER. NVIDIA RAN SO HARD FOR SO LONG THAT A PULLBACK WAS INEVITABLE, AND THE GEOPOLITICAL RISK IN THE MIDDLE EAST IS JUST ADDING FUEL TO THE SELLOFF.
